I rarely provide investment ideas anymore but I believe long-term this war in Iran is going to force nations to rethink global supply routes. Something as critical as oil cannot have a major chokepoint in a single location, where naval ships are sitting ducks trying to defend the oil tankers (US ships are apparently excellent at intercepting long-range missiles but not quite as adept/experienced at taking out drones from 5 miles on-shore). All of this to say I believe by the end of Trump's administration there will be talk of forming a new canal /supply route through more friendly nations -- at enormous cost, of course -- and more immediately, expanding pipelines underground. Lots of interesting stocks to look at that may benefit from this unfortunate Middle East situation. Reminds me of 2003 when Saddam torched his oil fields and there was only one major company (Boots & Coots) capable of putting out oil fires in hostile conditions. $CX $KMI $USO
