TransDigm has agreed to acquire Stellant Systems for approximately
$960 million in cash. Stellant, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, designs and manufactures high-power electronic components and subsystems for aerospace and defense markets.
The acquisition fits TransDigm’s strategy of buying businesses with proprietary products and strong aftermarket exposure. About 50% of Stellant’s revenue comes from the aftermarket, with nearly all sales generated from patented products. Stellant is expected to produce around
$300 million in revenue for the calendar year ending Dec. 31, 2025.
Management said Stellant’s highly engineered products and broad presence across commercial and defense platforms complement TransDigm’s existing portfolio. The company operates manufacturing facilities across several U.S. states and employs roughly 950 people. The deal is subject to U.S. regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
