Lockheed Martin secured two U.S. Department of War contract modifications totaling
$91.87 million.
The Space division in Sunnyvale, California, received a
$68.56 million cost-plus-incentive-fee modification under the Next Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared Geosynchronous program, increasing the total contract value to about
$8.23 billion. The work, managed by Space Systems Command, will be performed in Boulder, Colorado, and is expected to complete in August 2028, funded in part by FY2026 RDT&E resources.
Separately, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a
$23.31 million cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to support operations, maintenance, and sustainment for the U.S. Reprogramming Laboratory and F-35 Lightning II partner support systems. Work will be performed in Florida and Texas, with completion expected by April 2027.
