I saw CL called me a bitch before I had to block him. Never have I ever called him a name or been so hostile. This was a fluke of a day for $CAPS & hopefully they can follow it with a “we converted all of our debt” PR. NASDAQ noncompliance is still on the table. Now with more shares a RS would be more feasible if it had to come to that. I sleep better at night not having to think about whether or not this would happen to my hard-earned money. It was just too speculative for me with my current situation in life & I made a decision. I’m still watching to re-enter when my situation allows it. Congrats to everyone who made gains! Ironically I’m in $RITM now, stop speculative but also growing through acquisitions like CAPS & paying a (well-covered) dividend quarterly. As capstone is strategically positioned to capture a bounce back in their market, I believe Rithm is the same. High-risk, high-reward. I can’t seem to get away… Also watching $UTG $ARDC with starter positions.

I've been trying to create a more responsible portfolio, regrettably right after I missed out on serious gains with $CAPS . Oh well, you live & you learn. I'm glad I didn't chase at the top; since some of my sales were in an IRA it would have disallowed a huge bit of losses that offset my Q1 gains & I would have more disallowed losses to deal with. In with a starter in & watching $UTG $ARDC & holding $RITM as well. I'd like to make a position in $AVUV to feed my small-cap desires. I'll diversify out over time.

A smarter approach: pair $SCHD dividend growth with CEF income like $ADX $UTG $BME $PEO. Target 6% yield + 2% income growth. Stability + inflation hedge. #DividendInvesting

https://seekingalpha.com/article/4859590-high-yield-in-retirement-bdcs-vs-cefs-and-the-after-tax-income-trade-off Not all 8–10% yields are created equal. For early retirees living off taxable portfolios, after-tax income is what counts. BDCs like $ARCC and $OBDC throw off ordinary income, while CEFs like $ADX and $UTG can distribute mostly long-term capital gains. That difference can mean thousands more kept each year. Both structures can deliver similar total returns, but taxes quietly tip the scales. If you’re bridging income before 59½, CEFs may do more of the heavy lifting with less drag. 📊💰 #Income #CEFs #BDCs #TaxAlpha #Retirement

$UTG ,$TYG , $XIFR Power bills for about a fifth of Americans are expected to continue to rise after the largest U.S. grid operator, PJM Interconnection, reported fresh record-high capacity prices on Wednesday that reflected electricity demand by data centers overtaking supplies. For XIFR that means higher PPA in the future!
