Income ETF cheat sheet for beginners. If an ETF ends with "I", it typically represents an income-focused version of that strategy. Examples: $SPYI = S&P 500 Income $QQQI = Nasdaq Income $XLEI = Energy Income $XLKI = Technology Income $IAUI = Gold Income These funds are generally designed to provide regular income—often through option-based strategies—while maintaining exposure to their underlying index or sector. The trade-off is straightforward: Higher cash flow today may come with lower upside during strong bull markets. If you're building an income portfolio, there's a good chance your favorite index now has an income-focused version. Which income ETF is your favorite?

$IAUI The NEOS Gold High Income ETF (IAUI) is an actively managed options‑based fund that aims to deliver high monthly income alongside potential capital appreciation through exposure to physical gold‑backed ETPs combined with covered call and synthetic options strategies. Launched on June 5, 2025, it is structured to provide both income and capital gains. Why You Might Want to Own IAUI IAUI may appeal to investors who are seeking a high-yield income solution that is not tied directly to traditional bonds or equities, combining gold exposure with option premiums for attractive monthly payouts. It also provides inflation and uncertainty protection, since gold historically performs well during volatile or inflationary periods. In addition, IAUI offers a diversified alternative income source with low correlation to stocks and bonds, giving investors a unique way to balance income generation with portfolio diversification. Risk/Stability Grade: D AAAMP Portfolios: Global High Income (GHI)

One of my favorite ways to generate passive income is through NEOS income ETFs. 💵 They use a tax-efficient covered call strategy designed to generate monthly income while maintaining market exposure and avoiding NAV erosion. This month’s distributions: $QQQI: $1,269.20 $SPYI: $991.10 $IWMI: $253.13 $IAUI: $182.06 Total: $2,695.49 in one monthly distribution. There are many income-focused ETFs available, but NEOS continues to set a high standard with its approach. For investors focused on building cash flow, strategies that combine income generation with market participation are worth understanding. Always research the strategy, risks, and fund structure before investing.

Happy dividend day! 💰 Today brought in $2,099.89 in dividend income: $ORCL: $52.50 $NIHI: $51.57 $IYRI: $40.15 $IAUI: $8.31 Over $2,000 added to my account without selling a single share. That’s the power of building an income portfolio. The goal isn’t just watching your account value move up and down — it’s creating assets that can generate cash flow over time. Now it’s time to enjoy the day. Paid for by dividends. ⛳️ What income ETFs or dividend stocks are you building with?
