SEMICONDUCTORS AMD Sales Seen Rising 27% Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will report its fiscal second-quarter results late Tuesday. Analysts expect the chipmaker’s sales to advance 27% year over year to
$7.42 billion in Q2. However, earnings per share are forecast to drop 30% to 48 cents. Analysts will focus on the company’s fast-growing data-center products, such as its Epyc server processors and Instinct AI accelerators.
PCchip sales are seen benefiting from tariff-related pull-ins of demand and market-share gains from struggling Intel (INTC). Other chipmakers releasing quarterly results in the week ahead include Astera Labs (ALAB), Macom Technology Solutions (MTSI) and SiTime (SITM).
