JFrog added as 'Bullish Fresh Pick' at Baird amid 'massive dislocation'
As previously reported, Baird is adding a "Bullish Fresh Pick" designation JFrog and keeps an Outperform rating and
$78 price target on the shares, which are down
$12.42, or 25%, to
$37.87 in Friday afternoon trading amid a broader selloff in cybersecurity names after Anthropic announced a limited research preview for Claude Code Security. Among the group, JFrog is getting hit hardest as "investors map 'code security' to 'any DevSecOps getting AI-ed away'," but the firm thinks that is the "wrong abstraction" and views the pullback as a "massive dislocation," the analyst tells investors. JFrog's core value is not a single point scanner, but as a "the system of record for software artifacts plus policy enforcement," the analyst contends.
