Setup
Create a key on the API Tokens page, then add the server to your client. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key, and keep that file out of shared repositories.
Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http mboum https://api.mboum.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"Add this to .vscode/mcp.json in your project:
{
"servers": {
"mboum": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.mboum.com/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
}
}
}
}Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, or to .cursor/mcp.json in one project:
{
"mcpServers": {
"mboum": {
"url": "https://api.mboum.com/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
}
}
}
}Use these settings in any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP:
https://api.mboum.com/mcpAuthorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEYSome web apps only connect to servers that sign in with OAuth. This server uses your API key in a header instead, so use a client that lets you set request headers.
FAQ
