A manufacturing issue sent $SPR down more than 20% in a single day. In April 2023, Boeing halted deliveries of certain 737 MAX aircraft after a quality problem was identified in parts supplied by Spirit AeroSystems. The stock fell 20.7%, investors filed a lawsuit, and the case later resulted in a $29.2M settlement.
