$OKLO $SMR $NNE $BWXT Oklo is still actively racing to hit that same 7-4 criticality deadline for their own test reactor at INL. Oklo just received a massive vote of confidence from the DOE on May 26 when they were selected for the Surplus Plutonium Utilization Program. This program will allow Oklo to convert existing nuclear waste into bridge fuel for their reactors, helping solve the industry-wide fuel bottleneck. Antares just proved the regulatory fast-track is viable, paving the way for Oklo's larger, commercial-scale Aurora reactors.

$OKLO $SMR $NNE $BWXT Oklo's Aurora is a much larger powerhouse (15 MWe to 100 MWe per unit) targeting massive commercial energy demands. Oklo's primary focus is the hyperscaler data center market, highlighted by their planned 1.2 GWe power campus for Meta (Facebook) AI superclusters

$OKLO $SMR $NNE $BWXT Antares & Oklo are not competing for the exact same customers: Antares Mark-0 is an ultra-small microreactor (100 kWe to 1 MWe) designed for extreme portability. Specifically targeting military installations, remote outposts, & space applications.

$OKLO $SMR $NNE $BWXT Oklo previously struggled with NRC approval process, having app denied in 22' due to a lack of technical data. Because of that, Oklo pivoted to the exact same expedited DOE Reactor Pilot Program that Antares just used. Antares achieving criticality proves that this accelerated DOE regulatory framework actually works and isn't just a political promise. This dramatically de-risks Oklo's own regulatory timeline at the INL.
