$RITM $MFA I tell you what sucks. We catch these pops where I could sell and buy back to slowly dig out of this hole......but we are so close to dividend, if I sell....I can't buy back before dividend because of wash sale rule. So I would lose my write off to gain the dividend. So I am trapped until at least ex-divy date on both these. I am not gonna sell 3 weeks before dividend....just to get the write off. And I am not gonna violate the wash sale and lose my write off to just get the dividend. So moral of story is at this point, if you are down....you cant scalp unless you are willing to lose either the dividend or the write off. So might as well just ride them out, collect that 3-4% in 3 weeks, then rethink a strategy from there. I still feel good about these, just wish I had more buying power in the 2 accounts I have where these are losing at the moment.

Looking forward to reits sucking ass tomorrow because *checks notes* treasuries going down too fast 😂 😂 $DX $AGNC $MFA $CIM Tomorrow should actually be a good rebound. I didn't realize how bad they were last week. I only logged in Friday afternoon and nonstop beat down last week. Looks like over 1% a day as treasuries went parabolic.

$RITM $MFA Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street would not be buying these if they had fear. Now they may play games with it for a bit......but everything gonna be fine eventually. Have to think long term. We just need some good news on inflation, rates, oil and war!

$RITM No matter how much I want to give up on this......I just have a hard time doing it. I know what we have here. Michael just needs to bite the bullet, go C Corp and spin off NewRez.......then let the cards fall where they fall. So hard to sell it at the bottoms......my brain just keeps telling me this is when we should be buying these.....$MFA same way. Just torture right now though. But as long as Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street feel good owning 35-40% of the shares......it is hard to not follow them!

$RITM $MFA I tell you what sucks. We catch these pops where I could sell and buy back to slowly dig out of this hole......but we are so close to dividend, if I sell....I can't buy back before dividend because of wash sale rule. So I would lose my write off to gain the dividend. So I am trapped until at least ex-divy date on both these. I am not gonna sell 3 weeks before dividend....just to get the write off. And I am not gonna violate the wash sale and lose my write off to just get the dividend. So moral of story is at this point, if you are down....you cant scalp unless you are willing to lose either the dividend or the write off. So might as well just ride them out, collect that 3-4% in 3 weeks, then rethink a strategy from there. I still feel good about these, just wish I had more buying power in the 2 accounts I have where these are losing at the moment.

Looking forward to reits sucking ass tomorrow because *checks notes* treasuries going down too fast 😂 😂 $DX $AGNC $MFA $CIM Tomorrow should actually be a good rebound. I didn't realize how bad they were last week. I only logged in Friday afternoon and nonstop beat down last week. Looks like over 1% a day as treasuries went parabolic.

$RITM No matter how much I want to give up on this......I just have a hard time doing it. I know what we have here. Michael just needs to bite the bullet, go C Corp and spin off NewRez.......then let the cards fall where they fall. So hard to sell it at the bottoms......my brain just keeps telling me this is when we should be buying these.....$MFA same way. Just torture right now though. But as long as Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street feel good owning 35-40% of the shares......it is hard to not follow them!

$CVS Sold all my shares, 6200 shares. It wasn’t too long ago I was sitting on 250K loss for the longest period and just can’t take that risk anymore of it crashing. Sure there is a possibility it will go up another 10% but with the funds, we will earn equally. Will put the funds into power house ETF’s. $ABR A little green today yay!! I think we hit bottom at $5.69. Did some more house cleaning today. $MFA I think this is a screaming buy right now. $9.60 and it pays you 4% to hold for less than 2 months. Kind of boring money, but where else can you make 2% a month on your money, not counting the 3-5% the stock will appreciate to in that time?? That's 9% in 2 months.......with only risk being you own these shares at $9.25 a share. It's a no brainer trade. $100,000 becomes $110K in less than 2 months. Boring money, but a very safe trade for us boomers!!

$MFA What I took from the call - Spreads changed for worse after Iran War kicked off, since perceived Rate Cut environment shifted for now (which sets up stock nicely for a Catalyst in future if you are Bottom-Feeding here). Sale of Preferred Shares via ATM helped buy back Common Stock so the anti-dilutive actions are helpful toward Risk if you are entering this via Common Stock at this point (although large/wealthy investors may be better off buying the Preferreds that act more like Bonds). Lots of capital injects had set up company for success but all it takes is a renewed emphasis for Rare Cits from the Fed, for this company to get an immediate Tail Wind. Buy-and-Hold this at this low Entry Point, trade it once Rate Cuts are back on the table or actually occurring.
