$SWBI Historically, does the price of a stock drop when the dividend is announced or when it’s paid out? At face value, I get it might be when it’s paid out. However, wouldn’t the share take a hit at announcement since companies take on that liability with people being able to sell and still get the dividend?

$SWBI why bother putting money in the bank so inflation gets it? Just put it here and it can go down and get inflation simultaneously.
