Why is
$HYLN under
$2.00 (
$2.06 really) "free money?"
In the book value calculation of Hyliion, the Karno IP is figured only at the cost that was paid for it (
$37 million).
However, given the development of it since, it is worth from
$150 million to
$250 million today (see below).
At
$150 m. Karno IP valuation, the share price should be
$2.06
At
$200 m. Karno IP valuation, the share price should be
$2.34
At
$250 m. Karno IP valuation, the share price should be
$2.63
If you believe that the United States Navy (and every other branch of the military) is wrong, as are the scores of other customers lining up to buy this thing, or that there will be some Independence Day alien intervention that prevents further progress, I have never owned a more clearly undervalued stock than
$HYLN .
I'm anxious for any bear to explain why I'm wrong.
