Beam Global announced its largest-ever sale of off-grid EV ARC™ electric vehicle charging systems for a residential development. The sustainable infrastructure provider sold ten EV ARC™ units to a new residential project in New York. The systems generate and store their own renewable electricity, eliminating the need for construction, trenching, electrical upgrades, or utility coordination typically required for traditional EV charging infrastructure.
The deal highlights Beam Global’s expanding customer base beyond government agencies into commercial and residential markets. CEO Desmond Wheatley said the tens of millions of U.S. apartments and condominiums represent a major growth opportunity. For dense urban environments such as New York, EV ARC™ systems address challenges including limited utility capacity, complex permitting, long timelines, and high construction costs, while offering flexibility through easy relocation.
