Fitch Ratings upgraded Embraer’s long-term foreign- and local-currency issuer default ratings to BBB from BBB-, while affirming its national scale rating at AAA(bra). Fitch also raised the ratings on unsecured notes issued by Embraer Netherlands Finance to BBB from BBB-, with a Stable Outlook.
The upgrade reflects Embraer’s increasing product and geographic diversification, stronger medium-term revenue visibility and improving margins driven by economies of scale and cost-reduction initiatives. Supply-chain bottlenecks have also eased and normalized during 2026. The company is supported by a strong competitive position, a diversified product portfolio and a record
$34.5 billion backlog.
Deliveries rose 20% year over year to 109 aircraft in the first half of 2026, while the backlog increased 16%, providing several years of revenue visibility.
