$CCO heard a piece yesterday I thought was relevant for this board. Berkshire took a new stake in Lamar according to their latest filing….the rationale one analyst explained was that billboard and OOH advertising are real/tangible assets for eyeballs these days in a digital world that everyone fights for eyeballs in. Thought that was interesting….tech may have wider distribution but it is cluttered and or convoluted and run by algorithms whereas the Lamar’s and Clear Channels of the world have something tangible. Plenty of pros and cons to both but can’t help having a bullish tilt here after hearing that
