$BTCI bitcoin will rise and it will take this on a ride even with there nev erosion because they still have more then 650000$ treasury bonds so they aren't loosing the opportunity because in this way even if the market moves against them or they need to pay out dividends they could buy the underlying asset without taking on excessive risk. This helps protect the NAV from sharp drops during volatile periods, while still generating income from option premiums.
