This index includes fixed income securities issued by the U.S. Treasury (not including inflation-protected bonds, floating rate securities and certain other security types), with maturities greater than 10 years. I just found out why Bill Ackman is complaining, because he doesn’t have any long bond exposure .. btw I think it’s prudent to have your child take out student debt when attending college, even if you have the cash to cover, because it creates skin in the game
