$21 Million Defense Contract with Tobyhanna Army Depot
Shares of Sidus Space Inc rose Monday after the space and defense technology company announced a five-year IDIQ contract with the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) valued at up to
$21 million. The agreement, part of TYAD’s MATOC program, allows Sidus to provide on-demand manufacturing services for critical components, with individual work orders capped at
$750,000.
Sidus will produce electrical harnesses, cable assemblies, mechanical components, and provide welding services, supplying all personnel, equipment, materials, and engineering expertise to meet government specifications. The contract includes emergency contracting to manage workload fluctuations and competitive work order evaluations based on price, past performance, and delivery schedule.
