$OCC — OCC Optical Cable Corp: from “turnaround story” → “execution trade” This is no longer a clean deep-value reset. The re-rating has already happened, and now the tape is pricing delivery risk vs. backlog conversion. Core setup: Data center + fiber demand tailwind remains intact Record backlog = potential operating leverage unlock Lightera partnership adds strategic demand visibility But here’s the real shift in narrative: It’s not about survival anymore It’s about margin expansion + execution speed Insider ownership is high — alignment is strong, but governance structure + long board tenure adds a “slow-moving decision” risk factor. So the trade is simple: execution = continuation bottleneck = de-rating risk returns Late-stage recovery names like this don’t reward patience… they reward flawless delivery. $OCC — calling it now: this is the kind of under-the-radar name that can turn into the “early Corning Inc.” trade if AI infra keeps ripping. Here’s the setup from a trader’s lens AI hyperscale isn’t just chips — it’s bandwidth. Every cluster needs insane fiber density, and OCC sits right in that data flow layer (fiber + copper + connectivity). That’s where demand is compounding. The real unlock = Lightera (Furukawa Electric). Strategic stake + commercial partnership = OCC plugs into global distribution + next-gen fiber tech without heavy capex. That’s leverage. Now check the traction: • Latest quarter: sales +~4% YoY, led by enterprise + specialty (DC/military) • Backlog >$10M, up 50%+ YoY → demand visibility improving • Data center pipeline building fast into FY26 Low cap + real revenue inflection + AI tailwind = momentum setup. Not a crowded trade yet — but that’s exactly the point. Eyes on this if volume starts confirming.

$OCC Guidance at $200M looked ambitious six months ago. Now, with Q1 covering 38% of that target in fees alone, it starts looking like a floor. Management either knows something about seasonality, or they're leaving room to demolish expectations. Nathaniel T. Bradley

$OCC Read POET guidance today. Look at last weeks movement of all photonic related stocks. This is the tech to be in on and I love that it is the parts makers that my investments are focused on. All the parts that can be replaced by a light transmission device will tossed out and all the new stuff will be built with photon parts. Thats a lot of parts.

$OCC seems like using a calendar reminder could be significantly less expensive. You should research one of those as well.
