JOYY reported a strong improvement in its second-quarter performance, with operating profit more than doubling as the Singapore-based technology company benefited from continued growth in its user base and greater marketing efficiency.
Operating profit rose 138.1% year over year to
$13.8 million, compared with
$5.8 million in Q2 2025, and increased 102% from
$6.8 million in the previous quarter. Net revenue also grew 16.3% YoY to
$590.8 million, reflecting solid underlying business growth.
Global average monthly active users on mobile devices reached 277.1 million in Q2, up 5.5% from 262.5 million a year earlier and 0.3% from 276.3 million in Q1 2026. JOYY said it continued to focus its marketing strategy on improving return on investment and attracting and retaining high-value users.
Looking ahead, JOYY expects Q3 2026 net revenue of between
$602 million and
$622 million.
