This ultra-detailed, 109-slide thesis includes extensive commentary and analysis specific to $SDHC and $NVR. https://x.com/investor321123/status/1932790256732131650 The deck is a buy thesis on $GRBK, but leverages a systematic data-driven 20-year study of the entire homebuilder sector to support the argument. While the deck primarily advocates for a long thesis on GRBK, it comes to different conclusions about its two land-light opposites in SDHC and NVR. It makes the case that SDHC should perform well, while simultaneously implying that NVR's earnings growth and risk profile over the next 5 years are both likely to fall dramatically short of what its elevated P/E multiple suggests. See slides 15, 39-50, and 59-70 for the analysis most relevant to SDHC and NVR. There's also a section focused entirely on SDHC and NVR on slides 106-108, with another focused solely on NVR on slides 91-93. This screenshot from the deck shows a snapshot comparison of key metrics for all 18 public homebuilders:

A pair trade of short NVR / long GRBK should perform well in the medium-to-long term. See slides 15, 39-50, and 59-70 for the analysis relevant to NVR. $GRBK Highest margins in the industry, paired with the least debt, mix in 30% EPS growth over the last 5 years, and you get an impressive story. Plus trading at 7.5x earnings. https://seekingalpha.com/article/4798552-green-brick-partners-undervalued-built-for-next-housing-boom

Why is David Einhorn still heavily invested in housing? His #1 position. Because this cycle isn’t over with yet. $GRBK @junior2305 @MMaker1 https://247wallst.com/investing/2025/03/05/billionaire-david-einhorn-has-42-of-his-hedge-fund-invested-in-just-3-stocks/

$GRBK MM playing games low volume drop to below record earnings report the other day. Just crazy. They want us to think it’s Tariff related to Canadian lumber. They could pass on most of that impact to customers and the company is growing at light speed with increasingly better operating margins and net income. Scare tactics to shake out weak hands
