Seems like
$EB will be recovering market share within the music industry… 👀
Let me give you a history lesson about Eventbrite:
2017 - Eventbrite acquired Ticketfly from Pandora for
$200 million, aiming to strengthen its presence in the live music scene.
2018 - Ticketfly had a data breach, in May, which impacted 26–27 million users (causing some promoters to leave).
2018–2019 - High-profile music clients, like Chain Reaction, Burning Man, and Wynn Las Vegas, left due to poor migration handling and platform limitations.
2018-2020 - (Overall) Eventbrite tried to migrate clients from Ticketfly onto their own platform but experienced several issues resulting to a loss in credibility in the music space (which resulted them to revise their business strategy): system bugs, performance issues, and ultimately a poor user experience.
