$AMPY er seemed disappointing. FCF was negative $12.9 million. They seem to be bored drilling at Beta. Now workovers and share buybacks. The cash from the divestments is dwindling. Not enough left to complete enough wells to meaningfully replace some of the divested production. I think the share buyback is a bad idea. They should be investing all the remaining cash to maximize Beta. Som of the profit for Q2 was non cash related to hedging and the royalty relief.

$AMPY Buying back up to 9% of shares outstanding, 13% of float, by year's end. They can set a floor or walk it up. And trading at 0.61 × annualized Q2 revenue, about a third of most US E&Ps. Market doesn't throw out many soft balls like this.

Until the paper oil matket catches up to the physical oil market and the words continue to not match the actions of an ongoing escalating war we are all witnessing with our “lying” eyes 🤣 then the bull thesis is on like donkey kong. Stop letting the djt /oligarchy administration’s words shake you out of your cool headed positioning and investment in oil stocks. Be patient the oligarchs are trying to squeeze out all they can from the fake AI boom before reality sets in about oil prices long term affect on the global economy. Now even the Houthis are going to charge tolls.
