$ADN AMSL Aero has a partnership with Formula 1 car component manufacturer “Conflux” Conflux will manufacture heat exchangers for fuel cell aircraft with AMSL Aero who works closely with Stralis who is Advent’s partner for first hydrogen flight. Stralis has attributed Advent’s thermal management tech for the reason for their quick advancement. Recently Conflux has joined BOTH Airbus EU project “Newborn” for fuel cell aircraft AND Honeywell EU project for fuel cell thermal management “Ma4HERA” to design manufacturing heat exchangers for high volume flow rates. Vapor to liquid. Just like Advent’s Patented tech in my recent post. https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/aerospace/2025-10-02/additive-manufacturing-could-solve-fuel-cell-thermal-management

$ADN Advent’s Australian partner Stralis shares a hanger with Australian hydrogen eVTOL company AMSL Aero at Christchurch Airport where they recently filled tanks with liquid hydrogen. I would imagine that Stralis and AMSL Aero work closely together. https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/futureflight/2025-10-31/hydrogen-fuelling-now-tap-new-zealands-christchurch-airport

$ADN Advent and Airbus signed a 2 year JDA in Nov 2023. Advent stated in latest 10Q that they will be delivering final product from their JDA’s this quarter by year end. This timing also coincides with Airbus’ EU funded project “BRAVA” (Breakthrough Fuel Cell Technologies for Aviation) that ends this December. One of the major milestone achievements from this project is the breakthrough cooling system that involves using evaporated liquid to remove waste heat. Sound familiar? Yesterday I posted a patent now owned by Advent that used to be owned by Honeywell. This patent describes EXACTLY what Airbus is claiming. https://www.nlr.org/newsroom/case/brava/

$ADN In order for Advent to have a competitive advantage, there need to be competitors. Powercell has been supported by Bosch in the EU, the same way Advent has been supported by Honeywell and Airbus. Look up project “H2Haul” from the EU. This is very bullish and implies that there is increasing demand for these types of fuel cell offerings. Advent has been working on new fuel cell systems since Q4 last year after Serenergy went bankrupt due to the Russian hacking. The new fuel cells will be based on Ion Pair and will offer 3x life and power. https://fuelcellsworks.com/2025/11/24/clean-energy/powercell-launches-first-products-in-its-new-power-generation-portfolio

$ADN Except for this one. 🤔🤔 “Rankine cycle for recovery of thermal waste heat in fuel cell” Advent has a system to use excess heat from their fuel cells to generate even more power. The fuel cells themselves are getting more powerful, and Advent can created even more electrical energy from the extra heat from their HTPEM. There is a Patent Citation to a Patent originally owned by.. guess who… HONEYWELL, who let the patent expire this summer.

$ADN Bullish personnel updates -One of the lead scientists at Los Alamos on the Ion pair team took a job at 3M for fuel cell research. -Los Alamos Lab hired Advent’s senior chemist as their replacement -The advisory firm “PwC Greece” that helped Advent get EU approval for Green Rhyno hired an Advent employee to their EU Projects and Funding team.

$ADN Most of Work Package 1 is done. Financial closure and first milestone payment are next. First payment will be UP TO 40% of $34.5M grant= UP TO non-dilutive $13.8M payment. EU reports that small scale projects are starting to reach “Financial Closure” milestone much sooner than the previous 10-12 month average. Advent’s Grant Agreement signed with EU on 3/2/2025. Don’t forget that Advent’s project was ranked best out of all EU project submissions.

$ADN “Up to 40 % of the maximum grant amount can be paid out until financial close, while the remaining amount of at least 60 % is reserved for the reporting periods after financial close” Grant is $34M+ Advent will receive UP TO $13.8M for the first milestone payment. It has already been over 9 months since the grant was signed.. tick tock

$ADN Regarding EU Innovation fund- Green Rhyno Portions of the grant will be paid out when the company reaches milestones. The two first milestones are “Financial Closure” and “Enter into Operation” The average time from grant signing (Advent signed grant March 2025) to the first milestone payment for “financial closure” is 10-12months, with some projects moving faster.

$ADN The EU finally passed regulatory framework to subsidize “blue” hydrogen which reduces green house gas by 70%. Before, the EU was only subsidizing 100% green renewable hydrogen Many of the approved EU projects have not gotten any funding yet, just like Advent. Now the path forward is there for these projects to receieve actual funding I think that this is the last domino to fall. Expect Rhyno payment before end of year. https://fuelcellsworks.com/2025/10/24/h2/eu-parliament-clears-path-for-low-carbon-hydrogen-rules-grandfathering-existing-projects
