Company Profile

The fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in the securities of the underlying index. The underlying index measures the performance of a theoretical portfolio that holds a portfolio of the stocks included in the S&P 500® Index (the "reference index"), and "writes" (or sells) a succession of one-month at-the-money covered call options on the reference index. It generally will use a replication strategy.

Today I started a new watchlist on Fidelity for the Global X Funds. Reason being is Global X Funds now has 2 funds on my list of the top 50 yielding funds. Granted they are ranked #45 and #46, but 2 funds making that list means I need to keep an eye on them. They are #45 $XYLG (Yield 23.20) and #46 $RYLG (Yield 22.95). Turns out Global X Funds have 35 monthly paying funds. Not great yields, but respectable and less volatility for those that shy from those greater yields but high volatility. They have a total of 64 funds that pay semi-annual and quarterly. Not my bag of tricks, but those monthly payers do interest me. Only 2 qualified for the top 50 on my listing. GL

$XYLG Global X S&P 500 Covered Call & Growth ETF (XYLG) has announced a short-term capital gains distribution of $5.24908 per XYLG share. The record date is December 30, 2024; the payable date is January 7, 2025. The ex-distribution date for this distribution will be December 30, 2024.
