$VRN I’ve got some January ‘27 VRN calls and what I’m reading leads me to believe they will rollover to Whitecap. As of today, the calls are still listed with VRN but my shares have transferred to SPGYF at the 1/1.05 conversion. Curious what to expect with the calls though?!?

The companies have entered into a definitive business combination agreement (the "Agreement") to combine in an all-share transaction valued at approximately $15 billion, inclusive of net debt1. ANNOUNCE RESULTS OF SPECIAL SHAREHOLDER MEETINGS CALGARY, AB, May 6, 2025 The application for approval of the Business Combination by the Court of King's Bench is scheduled to be heard on May 8, 2025. Subject to approval of the Court of King's Bench and other customary closing conditions, the Business Combination is expected to close on or about May 12, 2025 and Veren's common shares are expected to be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") at close of markets on May 13, 2025. VRN gets 1.05 WCP shares. $VRN The stock is not falling during trading, its being walked down in pre-market. Who ever gets a trade completed in after hours & premarket? They are tools to manipulate the market. They should be removed as well as shorting. Shorting should be in Vegas. Buying and selling should go head to head with no pre-market and no after hours. If this wasn't the only game in town it would die because it's so goddamn corrupt

$BBD.B.TSX here is my 2 cents.. while we all wait on the news we wanna hear about the orange monkey, I’ve moved over to energy stocks $VRN $WCP.TSX merger incoming and both pay a nice divy. Don’t get me wrong investing in $BBD.B.TSX is where I wanna be but I just don’t have the stomach for all these rollercoaster rides going on right now. As soon as smoke clears I’ll jump back in with both feet. Also have $TSLQ on watch. GL bomberFam!

$VRN It is astonishing to me that $SPGYF is trading as high as it is considering the metrics of the merger. Or Maybe $VRN is just being kept on a tight leash?

$VRN So undervalued. In the merger, $VRN stock is worth 1.05 of $SPGYF. Either this will break out or that will have a selloff. My quick math puts this at a current price range of over $7. But I guess we will see where it goes.
