$VFS “VinFast Canada is announcing the closure of our three boutique mall locations and two showrooms in outlying areas as part of a broader strategy to refocus resources and enhance long-term performance in the evolving Canadian automotive retail landscape,” Vinfast only shut down showrooms and relies on franchised dealers to sell car to cut cost. They might be profitable early next year.

$VFS Entering the US EV market caused them financial losses. They got rid of showrooms and just rely on franchised dealerships for sales in US. They are focusing on profitable Asian EV market in India, Indonesia and Phillipines.

$VFS They were building a few more factories in Asia and have a lot of showrooms that's why they are losing money. They cut showrooms in the US and Europe and focus on asian markets like Phillipines, India and Indonesia where there are a lot of consumers interested in buying Vinfast EVs.
