$USOI Happy New Year everyone! I am another year holder in fact as of today it officially my 3 years holding birthday! I had a job loss in Dec but I continue to hold here and shifted other div payers from growth mode to more stable harvestable income from the money tree strategy during my transition to next job. I continue to believe in commodities and the power of compounding interest and wish you all the best in the coming year.

$USOI exited my $14K position yesterday, after Schwab sent me an error message stating to contact the broker to purchase shares while i was attempting to buy. Customer service stated that It was placed on a risk list by the Schwab risk team, due to short list or reasons, which included volatility and halt. He stated i could only sell the shares without purchasing them for a brokerage fee. The price has been slowly eroding since i originally started my position 2 years ago, but i was hoping to exit sometime when gas/oil prices went back up, whether it was 1 to 5 years from now. It was disappointing to take a loss, but felt like the remaining capital could be used better elsewhere for profits. Any other brokers limiting the buy of shares?

$USOI What's with the capital depreciation that's happening here? Aren't the managers here noticing that this fund is losing value.

$USOI As a buy and hold compound divvy investor I don't have much traditional realize gains and losses. So last week I sold 45 to harvest a tax loss of 3000 this year that will equal about 800 saving on taxes. Plan to buy back after Dec 15th. Been a ruff year to be a divvy player still contributing and reinvest and seeing a flat slightly eroding line on value ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just hoping it don't crash hard and sticking to the plan....

$USOI Today's new sanction's could push this back up. Today’s action targets Russia’s two largest oil companies, Open Joint Stock Company Rosneft Oil Company (Rosneft) and Lukoil OAO (Lukoil), which are now designated.

$USOI Ouch! And the 50 wall breaks hard. DRILL BABY DRILL BABY DRILL - even though we have some of the highest cost of labor & business in the world and that is an obvious fundamental reason Americas push to be the #1 oil producer looks kind of stupid. Speaking of stupid I'm going to HOLD despite being down -43.89% on my 240 shares if I sold today I would be up about 3K I just need 7730 more for a 100% return at .75 per month I just need to hold another 3.5 years to get there. surely we will survive the next 3.5 years? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

$USOI The last BUY signal was around 50.25 on Sep 5th so I have a low ball bid for 50.50 which is obviously an undecided amount but I am a bottom feeding slug. 😂

$USOI Does not issue a K1 for taxes according to a source I checked with. Could be due to it being a ETN, not a ETF such as $USO $UCO and others. Correct?
