$SEV Manufacturing and Production Updates
Launch Design Deal: Aptera partnered with Launch Design in a
$44 million production program to handle assembly fixtures, tooling, and pilot production. Aptera pays two-thirds in cash and one-third via stock warrants up to
$15 million.
First Production Parts: Aptera ordered its first 40 production bodies and chassis. These parts are scheduled to arrive in October 2026 to assemble initial customer vehicles.
Initial Assembly Plans: Pilot vehicles will be built via Launch Design's facilities before processes shift to Carlsbad, California, for scaled final assembly.
