$NVA Duh! It makes sense when you think about it: The ADR is an investment in a managed pool of NVA.AX stock. If NVA stops trading in Australia, it is not trading. Period. How can you trade the ADR when the underlying stock has stopped trading? I don’t expect it to open again until the 16th. But who knows! This thing is full of surprises!

$NVA June 3rd is the last day the ADR will trade. NVA will start trading on the NYSE on June 16. If you are short the ADR, you must return the shares you borrowed to their rightful owner by June 3rd, so the owner will get the new shares. EVERY SHORT MUST BE COVERED!!!

$NVA All of a sudden there are all of these new people posting like crazy on this sleepy board.... weird. Separately, what if the shorts are covering because there is no guarantee that their prime broker will get them the new US stock to short to replace the ADR. Could they be forced to cover the ADR before it disappears? 2.36M ADR shares short. 5 days to cover. I have no idea if I am right, but I am going to buy more anyway just to squeeze them... why not...?
