$VHI $KRO $NL - VHI owns 81% of KRO
Their control of Kronos includes approximately 50% we hold directly and approximately 31% held directly by NL.
Kronos Worldwide, KRO today reported net income of
$19.5 million, or $.17 per share, in the second quarter of 2024 compared to a net loss of
$8.2 million, or $.07 per share, in the second quarter of 2023. For the first six months of 2024, Kronos Worldwide reported net income of
$27.6 million, or $.24 per share, compared to a net loss of
$23.4 million, or $.20 per share, in the first six months of 2023.
Kronos had a great quarter and will be reflected in VHI earnings.
