closed my position in $MGPI a dollar above my stop, took a small gain on the trade but no follow through on the breakout. I still like the stock but like $SPH more and am putting on a trade in $BE -- its setting up how I like, with the 5, 10 and 20 day MA's all converging in a daily trading range. The long-term uptrend is confirmed with the 50, 100 and 200 day MA's all in order. Long at 154 a share, lets see how it goes.

$MGPI I like this industry for 2026 huge value here Mgp needs to continue to show strength on the premium end and show it can create brands ! Hopefully for upcoming earnings they can guide higher for 2026 and elaborate on the execution of ingredients as a growing business While showing steady margins in distillate

Murmurs of a free trade agreement between the US and Canada, that would be good for domestic distillers and brewers. I'd say $MGPI stands to gain if and when that announcement hits the airwaves. I saw another article that stated that domestic liquor is slowly returning to the shelves in Quebec, another good piece of news that should support the stock next week.

$MGPI we get $27.00 before the end of the week and Im moving my stop up to basis at $25.10 -- lock in a 4% gain. I think the stock could reverse, broader market teetering with dollar weakness but Im in a good spot, its a stock that trades at book value, I have a small gain locked in and there is a possibility that we could see some rotation into value and this stock could benefit.

$MGPI got my price, sold 350 shares at 26.38, moving up my stop to $23.10 on a 100 shares - locked in a 2.2% gain on the trade. If we get some run on this breakout, can rack a bonus.
