$LAND this is a REIT dependent on cyclical commodity cycles. Humans need to eat. This too shall pass. As someone who has been holding Potash miners for years, just enjoy the dividend and let it ride. timing the market might give you some gains here and there but farming is the world's original profession and it isn't going anywhere. and The Good Lord ain't making any more land.

$LAND They lost $0.10 a share. Sounds like the lease agreements are being modified to help farmers and benefit if the crop prices can be sold at a profit. They sold a few farms to hopefully streamline the business. Longer term outlook still looking decent considering we are trading near lows still. Book value ratio under 0.5 a share now.

$LAND Gladstone has been acquiring water rights to secure supply in Cali to address water uncertainty due to regulations, so the value of their land is better insulated. Gladstone has also restructured into participation based leases for some farms, where revenue is linked to crop yields rather than base rent, which is lowered. This reduces operating expenses for farmers (water restrictions increase costs), keeping the farm occupied, preserves upside based on strong harvests and crop prices, and avoids distressed farm fire sales. In summary, securing water rights protects farms' long-term asset value while restructuring certain leases gives tenants more breathing room under irrigation cuts. This structure ensures LAND still benefits despite water availability issues.

$LAND I havent reviewed all that has happened. But from my knowledge i am to believe this stock price is going to look great next quarter. If i read this correctly, Gladstone Land repurchased preferred shares which led to drastic spending. BUT.... if they bought back thee preferreds (which have Huge dividend payouts) then LAND doesnt spend dividend money therefore retaining income. Also their Assets should be increased. This is interesting but i need to research more. i own both Land and the three different preferreds . i guess there is also an unlisted preferred you can purchase from their website called Series E. 🤫
