$GAB How the hell did that just happen? My $5.60 order sitting all day. Now market buys are going at $5.6050. WTH I say, a market buy at $6.605 will average out to $5.600 with my $6.595 from yesterday. So I entered at $2500.00 market buy! 446.428 shares at $5.60!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH MR. MM! The weekend starts now! Maybe a good sign too that Josh (Fidelity) is going to call me at 400 PM EST to say they fixed $GGT's DRIP! 🥰🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GGT ONE LAST GO AT FIDELITY!!! Three's a charm as they say. Started off with the AI assistant, "I would like to speak to a Manager or Supervisor". That made for a quicker connection it seems. Long story short... I spoke with Josh (at least a Supervisor) and went through the WHOLE enchilada with him. Gave him hard fast numbers of Gabelli discount DRIP prices vs what Fidelity has paid over the last two DRIPs. Explained (and he sees it in the chart) that GGT trades at a 10% premium to NAV and there's no way in hell a Fidelity "at market" DRIP is better than Gabelli's. He agrees. He said he will be calling me back no later than 4:00 PM EST... By market close. We shall see! I also conveyed the rudeness in Fidelity's response to Casandra - "Write a letter". I'm sure the guy was thinking... "to somebody who cares". I also told Josh, that NEVER in my 11+ years of trading with Fidelity have I ever experienced this level of disatisfaction. @MoonBeamSF 🍀🍀🥃

$GGT I was just told over and over again that 'Fidelity's policy is that is a company offers a discounted DRIP program that Fidelity will automatically participate for customers and since that did not happen it means that no discounted drip program is available for GGT'. They are working with false positives and continuously saying that the discounted drip is nonexistant becasue it didn't happen at Fidelity even if we can prove it is happening at other brokerages and Gabelli themselves are saying this is not true. And no we can't talk to anyone in the back office to figure out why this is happening, not happening. Really wish Gabelli themselves would reachout to Fidelity as it affects them as a company far more than individual investors. They would definately get more interest in other funds besides GUT if they all participated in the Discounted DRIP program.

$GGT I just don't understand why Fidelity wouldn't be willing to sign up for every discount drip program for their customers. This is the first time I have had such a frustrating experience with Fidelity customer service. Told nothing they can do...told me I have to write a letter to complain to 'back office".

$GUT WOWZAA!!! For the first time since November 2024, I have zero shares of the Goot (actually I kept one share so I can get my discounted DRIP shares next week)! My very last "never sell" $ 5.0x lot I talked myself into selling in AH today. 😭 .. Sold at $6.30 & $6.31. The Goot is just sitting on a crazy valuation IMHO at the moment. Over 25-months of equivalent divvis sitting there. Next buy at $5.95 somewhere down stream. Gonna have to use $GAB and $GGT as surrogates in the meantime. 🥰🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GGT $GAB $GUT Carter (Gabelli) just called back. We had another long conversation. He understands and agrees completely GGT should be getting the discounted DRIP. He also said these are the three (GAB, GGT, GUT) that usually run > 5% prem. to NAV and therefore usually DRIP at discount. They have others that DRIP at discount from time to time based on SP and NAV. He also confirmed GAB is currently going thru arbitrage and therefore is trading at a discount (all those $5.00 RO shares being traded for a quick profit). It time, it will again be back to a premium. As we all know, the increase back takes longer than the drop. 🤣 I mentioned Casandra's @MoonBeamSF Fidelity comment... "Fidelity said only GUT trades under the Gabelli discount plan". All others DRIP under the Fidelity plan. So, he'll be looking into the other Gabelli funds/Fidelity and see what's what. He mentioned CompuServe and Transfer Agent as contact points he needs to follow-up with as well. CHARGE!!!!

$GGT Got my "cash" distribution this morning! Yay! I'll continue to wait till the Guinea Pigs have collected the discounted drip to change to drip. Meanwhile, I don't understand (which is not unusual) why the $GUT and $GGT share prices continue to rise when everything else is down or flat...

$GGT I have spoken to both Fidelity (Kevin - licensed agent) and Gabelli (David - CEF team) TODAY. After a bit of confusion on David's part he finally understood what I was asking. I'm liking Kevin's attitude though. He'll be calling me back. He's working with Fidelity's dividend team (they don't take client calls) to help resolve with Gabelli (after I told him I have spoken to Gabelli a couple of times). And YES, everyone agrees that the GGT fund should be issuing new shares to shareholders of record at a 5% discount to market price since its trading at a 10% premium to NAV. For now, since GGT is still a BUY in my book, I'll continue to DRIP it. Hopefully they'll get it resolved by next pay day (06/23) which will be for their $0.08 dividend (the 3rd month of each quarter pays at $0.08, the other two months pay at $0.07). 🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GGT Gabelli website sayd NAV was 3.88 on 5/20, drip shares came through at just under $4.23. Anyone know what they should have been if the discounted drip was working correctly? Wonder how big this problem is, which funds, which brokerages are affected? Is this only happening with Fidelity and Gabelli funds??? I doubt it!!!!!!!

$GGT $GAB Now the question is... For GAB. GAB is a discounted DRIP fund as well IF at the time of distribution it's trading at a premium to NAV. Historically (52-Wk avg.) this trades right on the cusp of a 5% premium. Currently it's well below that at a 4.64% discount to NAV (and hence a BUY in my book). Current forward looking TP of $6.10 as of today. Currently trading at a triple nickel value of $5.55. Next ex-div date is: 06/15/2026. Pays $0.15 /qtr. So, for all intents and purposes, pays the exact same as the Goot. The discounted DRIP works as it should for $GUT (at Fidelity). 🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GGT Carter Austin is on the Gabelli CEF Team and with whom both Casandra and I have spoken. Call him! Make your voice heard! Speak up! Be a GGT Citizen! Damnit! It's our discounted DRIP and we want it, we want it now!!! Based on Gabelli's email naming conventions, Carter's email address should be as noted below.
