$GGT Although we closed at $4.29, my sell order for 60 at $4.29 didn't hit. I was conflicted anyway; it's always a difficult decision for me to sell dividend stocks with a high yield when they go up in value. I also switched back to cash from drip, to give Fidelity a little extra time to work out the discount.

$GGT Was just too temping! Although still undervalued (closer to $4.33) in my opinion, I sold off my two $4.17 lots at $4.2850 for an $0.115 gain or 1.6 months equivalent divvis. Just in case they don't get the discounted DRIP fixed in time for the next divvi ($0.07). 🎁🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GUT $GGT It pained me greatly and so, with much weeping and gnashing of teeth (since I have no flipping shares of the Goot), I caved and bought a 1/2 lot (of my normal lot size for GUT) 'at market' (bid was $6.17, ask was $6.19) and as expected, I got $6.1800. An hour or so later, with more gnashing of teeth I bought another 1/2 lot 'at market' (same bid $6.17, same ask $6.19). I was expecting, like before, $6.18. Oh contraire - $6.1700. Go figure! I'll take what appears to be a 🎁. It'll be interesting to see where we close today and over the next bunch of days up to ex-div. day. 🥰 the Goot. Sooo much banked on this one. So far so good on $GGT. It'll be even better IF they get the DRIP discount fixed on Fidelity (Gabelli is working the issue) before the next DRIP shares drop! 🍀🍀🥃

$GGT SInce we're going to get the Discounted DRIP fixed on this one via Fidelity, DTC, the transfer agent and Gabelli, I added more today at $4.17! Not going any higher but I still have my $4.15 GTC in. Expires the EOB the day before ex-div. 🥰🍀🍀🥃 Now, if we could just get $CLM and $CRF to DRIP already! That would make for a...

$GGT So my previous post actually applied to $IGR, not GGT. It appears I tried to drip both IGR and GGT but didn't get the discount on either one and I selected drip at least 10 days before ex-div day.

$GGT So, I'm with Fidelity, I got into GGT in January and selected drip for my $21 div in February. No discount and I'm pretty sure I selected drip in plenty of time, but I'll double check.

$GGT @PennyWeasel @PennyWeasel I think the confusion comes from a few sentences down past where you highlighted. "If the NAV is higher than the market price" then you just get the market price. So last month GUT sp was above NAV and shares on drip came in at $5.95 following the first set of rules, but GTT sp was below NAV on day of valuation so drip was done at $4.12. following the other rule. GGT only trades at a premium about 11% of the time, while GUT trades at a premium 86% of the time. More likely to get discount shares of GUT than GGT. But discount GGT shares are possible if at premium at time of valuation.

$GUT $GGT Right now, based solely on the 52-Wk Premium to NAV average, the Goot's SP equates to $6.19 and GGT equates to $4.25. Both DRIP with a 5% discount to market price calculated on "pay date" closing price. 🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GGT $GUT Breaking News! GGT DOES indeed offer a 5% DRIP Discount! Hmmm. According to their Annual Report, Pg. 84, they DO indeed offer a 5% DRIP discount. I've been under the impression it did not. Why? I think because when I first bought GGT (02/19/26, 1st divv. paid 03/24) I set my position to DRIP and asked the question here. The response was "No, they don't" ("GUT does, GGT does not") so I flipped it to CASH for my first divvi and have been parroting the same since. My bad, my apologies! Bad weasel, bad! I usually set my 1st divvi to DRIP to test real-time. I didn't this time. I took somebody's word for it (not pointing fingers). That'll teach me, 😐 and ya'll for listening to me and not testing or looking up docs yourself. 🤣 Just changed my position to DRIP! Only 2-mths (March/April) so not too too devastating. Here are screen shots of GGT & GUT Annual Report references to 95% of market price if it's higher than NAV (which of course it is). 🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GGT $GUT Good SA write up on GGT. Rates it a BUY with normal CEF cautions, etc. One comment mentioned that it came with a 5% DRIP discount. Unless something has changed, it does not. Gonna double check that later on today to verify one way or the other. 🥰🍀🍀🥃 https://seekingalpha.com/article/4897166-ggt-collect-20-percent-dividend-yield-from-telecommunication-sector

$GGT Now this is just funny! Huh? I had placed a buy order for $4.11 for regular session. It filled at the open (09:30:01) at $4.10 (part of a mass group of 7,914 shs). After that, $4.11's started filling. 🤣🥰 I'll take the win no questions asked! 🍀🍀🥃

$GGT Shhhhhh 🤫🤫 Right or wrong, good or bad, but based on the NAV bump of $0.10 (most lemmings unaware???) and heading towards ex-div date (the 14th), I quietly picked up some $4.11/$4.12 shares at PM open. The early 🐦 gets the 🪱 and all that! Still have the $4.05 GTC sitting there JIC. 🥰🍀🍀🥃

$GUT $GGT Someone is off their rocker and I'm think'n it's Gabelli! What's go'n on Gabelli? A check of their website shows as of today (the 30th) no changes to either GUT or GGT NAVs. Same-Same as yesterday ($3.23 and $3.72). *Correction: Rereading my post from yesterday (not sure what I was smok'n yesterday, old and forgetful) I said GGT NAV was $4.11. Duh! Not $4.11, GGT NAV was $3.72. Ya'll readers need to read more better! 🤣 In any event... That's what Gabelli has for today's NAV's: $3.23 and $3.72. I'm think'n BOGUS! Fast forward to XGUTX and XGGT for today: $3.31 (up $0.08) and $.3.82 (up $0.10)!!! I'm liken and believing that over what Gabelli is currently showing! Based on premium to NAV stats: GUT at $6.23, GGT at $4.25! Tomorrow "could" be smok'n HOT! 🔥🔥🥰🥰🍀🍀🥃
