$FLD Positive sentiment from this filing in my view.
Worth actually reading the FLD filing rather than just seeing “9.28m shares” and panicking.
The important bit is Fold is terminating its
$250M equity purchase facility effective tomorrow. That facility allowed Fold to issue new shares to the investor when it wanted to raise money, so removing it takes away one pretty significant source of potential dilution.
The 9.28m shares mentioned at the top are part of the existing registration/prospectus. This filing does NOT mean Fold has suddenly announced a new 9.28m share offering.
They have said they’re doing this to give themselves the option of alternative financing though, so obviously that doesn’t mean dilution can never happen again.
