Actually, the fact their batteries stabilize and exhibit consistent energy density after 300 cycles w/o further degredation means engineers can design the size of the battery to be optimized on that design limitation. ie, create a battery 20% larger! It's actually NOT as big of deal as you might think! In fact, there are already new techniques being used to reduce or completely eliminate dendrite formation, which is what you are referring to whether you understand that or not.
