$EPU sold to get principal back when it got uncomfortably hot at $93.15/share last week. Whew! I’m still in it for the amount over principal but I really needed this self-back-pat after a bloodbath of a trading day.

$EPU 2 HOT 2 handle (you thought $EWO and $VPL ) were up up and away. try peru on for size. too scary for me, and guess what Peru's president impeached four months into term for failing to disclose meetings with Chinese businessmen. The scandal unfolded last month after videos emerged of Jerí meeting several times outside his official schedule with businessman Zhihua Yang, who was under government scrutiny. $MCHI take it from me, PERUVIANS hate the chinese. about 12 years ago, some china company bought an entire mountain in peru and totally chopped the whole thing off for minerals (seriously.) peruvian people feel like it's the 1700 and the spanish are coming for their silver. (seriously)

$EWW Mexico $EPU Peru Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Is Declared Persona Non Grata in Peru Peru’s congress has declared Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum persona non grata, days after her administration granted asylum to a former prime minister who’s hiding in a diplomatic residence in Lima. Sheinbaum has been a supporter of ousted left-wing Peruvian President Pedro Castillo, who stands accused of staging a coup d’etat against his own government in order to stay in power and avoid impeachment in 2022. The plot failed and he was arrested and is currently in jail while standing trial, but his wife, Lilia Paredes, fled to the Mexican Embassy where she was granted asylum and later fled there.
