$EGRNF Trading has halted for this stock I believe, and in regards to any hopes of the stock getting reinstated and trading, and moreover the business becoming active and viable, has to be a very remote longshot, basically it would take an act from god, or Xi Jinping.
Here's one way, albeit with tons of things that would all have to go right:
1) Evergrande will (be forced and required to) continue to complete ongoing home construction projects
2) Saleable assets will be liquidated for creditors, particularly the 2 big ones in Hong Kong, the Property Services Group and the New Energy Vehicle Group, and a new creditor debt restructuring plan will be proposed - and approved by creditors, and if so the Hong Kong court will follow suit
3) On mainland China though, where 90% of Evergrande's assets are, and where the Hong Kong bankruptcy ruling will not be enforceable, will allow Evergrande to continue as a going concern
4) Stocks begin trading again on all pertinent stock exchanges
