$RCAT $ONDS $UMAC $DPRO To Jeff's point, Gauntlet II margins are going to be tight.
The DoW wants night vision cameras on 20% units. Fiber integrated systems must deliver 10% of their awarded units with a fiber connection & spool with a minimum of 20km range. Vendors must provide a 5% sparing of common failure components. A 1:20 ratio is required for support equipment (e.g. goggles & controller).
If
$RCAT uses a Black Widow to assist in the test, they would be required to provide one free BW for every 20 FPVs? So, one free BW (~
$40K) for every
$70K -
$90K in FPV drones, lol.
"The reusable equipment required to operate the air vehicles. This includes the Ground Control System (GCS), comms infrastructure, operator interfaces, and any supporting air assets (e.g., ISR or relay
drones) that were required to pass the Gauntlet II event. These components must be delivered at a ratio of 1:20 (one
complete set for every 20 OWA air vehicles awarded)"
