$DMXCF Viken could be one of the most undervalued critical mineral assets in Europe.
The deposit is massive, but it sits in black shale—meaning water treatment will be a challenge. The most likely path forward is Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), a best-in-class system that eliminates all wastewater.
ZLD = no environmental discharge, full water recycling, and a stronger ESG profile. That alone could be the key to permitting.
Julia Creek in Australia is already moving ahead with a similar ZLD-based design for vanadium in shale. Viken could follow the same path—on European soil.
Yes, it’s capital intensive. But with global vanadium demand surging and Europe desperate for supply security, this project won’t be ignored for long.
