Company Profile

The fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund (“ETF”). Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in commercial real estate instruments or other investments with economic characteristics similar to commercial real estate instruments, such as derivative instruments (including credit default swaps). The fund is non-diversified.

$HBAR.X to a few of my old school hodlers, has anyone checked out $DCRE ? Am I losing my mind that housing equity funds are being wrapped and turned into CMBS and then being sold back to private equity? Wtaf? Is this a buy for us? Not even sure how this is legal. Also, totally love $HBAR.X !

$DCRE wait….MBS (housing mortgages bought in bulk) are being converted into CMBS and sold back to private equity funds? Wtaf? How do you even forecast what is a safe investment? Is CMBS protected by the fed? If so, maybe this is worth buying. Anyone? Bueller? Wtf.

$DCRE question….somewhat like house mortgages which were total shit in 2008, a ton of small banks underwrite these commercial building loans and don’t have to follow the regulations of a large bank like Chase etc…what is to say CMBS isn’t a time bomb about to go off later this year? I don’t know what I don’t know so figured I would ask. Not bearish or bullish…
