$CRLBF I'm long. And I've veen incredibly wrong. What did i learn? That the shorts have the better argument. Even with legalization, the shorts STILL might have the better argument. Look at Canada. If we cannot control the illicit business in the US, the MSOs will continue to suffer.
Thats why the hemp crackdown is good. But we need more efforts:
1) pass laws that incentivize citizens to turn in illegal growers and distributors. Pay them
$10K. We need to shut this shit down. Make Narcing cool. If cops take bribes from these illicit players, they get mandatory 20 year sentences.
2) Use the same force we're using in Venezuela to go after the illicit market here. Raid their camps. Set their crops on fire. Prosecute them to the full extent if the law. Do this a few times and people will get the message.
3) I think people should be able to grow their own plants, a few of them, anyway, for their own personal consumption, but it must be illegal for them to sell it.
