Shares of Pop Culture Group Co Ltd rose Thursday after the company announced a strategic partnership with Xiamen Fu Xiang Culture Communication Co., Ltd. to develop a cultural exchange hub between Mainland China and Taiwan. The two firms plan to build the Hualiu Music, Film, and TV Cultural Center in the Greater Bay Area of Xiamen, aiming to foster youth cultural exchange while integrating tourism, education, performing arts, and film production. Pop Culture will contribute its Hualiu culture expertise, content production capabilities, and market channel resources, while Fu Xiang Culture will leverage its role as a cross-strait cultural facilitator and local network. The initiative is intended as both a commercial and sociocultural collaboration, creating spaces for youth to “play, create, and develop careers together” and establishing a comprehensive audiovisual industry base as a model for cross-strait cultural exchange.
