Presenting on behalf of the company will be Tara Christie, President and CEO. Ms. Christie has over 25 years of experience in the exploration and mining business and became President and CEO of Banyan in 2016. Prior to that, she was President of privately owned Gimlex Gold Mines Ltd. (2006-2016), one of Yukon's largest placer mining operations, and was involved in consulting for exploration, mining, environmental assessment, government, community and First Nation relations, including working with First Nation development corporations. She currently serves on the boards of Osisko Metals and Western Copper and Gold; has been a board member of PDAC, AMEBC and other industry associations; and was a founding board member of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-Economic Assessment Board (2004-2016). She is also actively involved in non-profit work, serving as President and co-founder of "Every Student, Every Day," a charity dedicated to enhancing school attendance across Yukon. Ms. Christie holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional engineer in BC and Yukon.
Banyan's primary asset, the AurMac Project, is located in the Traditional Territory of First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun in Canada's Yukon Territory. The current Mineral Resource Estimate, with an effective date of June 28, 2025, comprises an Indicated Mineral Resource of 2.274 million ounces of gold (112.5 M tonnes at 0.63 g/t) and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 5.453 Moz of gold (280.6 M tonnes at 0.60 g/t). The 303 square kilometre AurMac Project lies 40 kilometres from Mayo, Yukon. It is transected by the main Yukon highway and benefits from a 3-phase powerline, an existing power station and cell phone coverage.
