$NAK Dunleavy wants it, but otherwise it's unpopular. Most Alaskans don't want it. I lived there for 10 years, so I know. APC has been supportive of it, but BBNC and Pedro Bay do not, will not, and in fact there is a conservation easement on Pedro Bay lands. Between Pedro Bay and BBNC, who own the land around Pebble, that means the ore is STRANDED. Why stick my nose in this? Mostly just to rile you guys up because its fun, but also because I have friends who fish commercially in AK and this mine would be very bad for the seafood industry. Bristol Bay is the foundation of the entire state's salmon industry. Well OVER HALF of the world's sockeye salmon are caught downstream from Pebble. Want a mine that actually has a chance in hell and is undervalued? Look at
