The average "investor" does not short so if you are here you should be shorting more than going long.
if you have a market that doesn't have shorting then you have a fraudulant market.
With out Shorts the people owning shares create a block that manipulates markets.
with our shorts Bid and Ask margins would be massive.
If you didn't have shorts then then it would cost
$1000 to buy a
$ASTS share and you could sell it for
$0.20.
Every Astard would spend their last penny buying up shares and never selling. Those that sold will sell to an Astard that will never sell. no trading would happen.
The main problems with
$ASTS is
1. Large institutions got shares cheap and can't sell with out taking a mark to market loss
2. The CEO controls about 75% of the vote so fraud will be rampant and there will be no oversite or prodection for share holders.
