$APPX While it is not confirmed that Samsung has dropped all of
$APP services, it has terminated its partnership involving the controversial Array software. The decision follows allegations that Array enabled unauthorized app installations on user devices. An October 2025 investigation from Bloomberg cited a Samsung spokesperson who confirmed the termination of their partnership with
$APP , stating that Samsung "does not allow for the installation of any application on its Galaxy devices without user consent". After facing scrutiny over the allegations,
$APP confirmed in October 2025 that it had shut down its Array software. The company characterized it as a "test product" that was not "economically viable" and asserted that users must explicitly request app downloads when using its products. The status of other
$APP services on Samsung devices is not public.
$APP offers a broad range of advertising and monetization services for mobile apps beyond just the Array software.
