Figma is launching a new feature called “Code to Canvas” in partnership with Anthropic, enabling code generated by AI tools such as Claude Code to be converted into fully editable designs within Figma’s platform.
The feature bridges AI coding tools and Figma’s design workflow, allowing users to transfer AI-built interfaces directly onto the canvas. Design teams can then refine layouts, compare variations, and collaborate more efficiently on final decisions.
The partnership comes as Figma shares have fallen about 85% from their 52-week high of
$142.92 reached in August, following the company’s IPO last summer. The stock has been caught in a broader selloff affecting many SaaS companies. Anthropic’s products have been central to what Wall Street traders have dubbed the “SAASpocalypse,” a sharp downturn in SaaS stocks.
Figma is scheduled to report earnings Wednesday after the market close.
