CNBC’s Jim Cramer advised investors to keep newly public Accelevation Holdings on their watch list rather than buy immediately, citing political uncertainty surrounding data center construction ahead of the U.S. midterm elections and competition from established infrastructure suppliers. He suggested waiting until roughly three weeks after the election, when political pressure on the sector could ease.
Accelevation, which manufactures and installs electrical and cooling equipment and support structures for data centers, priced its Sept. 29 IPO at
$18 per share, below its proposed range. Shares debuted at
$17.95 and subsequently fell to just over
$15, reflecting a disappointing market reception despite strong demand for AI infrastructure.
The company’s growth has been substantial: revenue increased 147% in 2025, followed by 176% year-over-year sales growth in the first half of 2026. However, higher labor costs and project execution inefficiencies pressured gross margins.
